Italian architect and graphic designer Federico Babina creates illustrations by playfully combining architecture with other artistic disciplines. In the “Archist” series famous paintings and works of art are digitally translated into buildings: “I tried to imagine how it would have been a house designed by Dalí or a museum designed by Miró”, Babina says. Among the artists chosen, Damien Hirst, Christo and Salvador Dali. Along these lines are his former series, Archicine and Archiset, where iconic movies were re-imagined by Babina as intriguing cross-sections of the rooms featured in them.
