Setting: Italy/New York, 1970’s/nowadays

Main Character:  Elsa Peretti, former model and socialite, icon, vanguard, talented mind behind Tiffany & Co ‘s best selling, iconic designs

Plot: While modeling in New York in the early 70s, Elsa   started creating her first designs for Giorgio di Sant’Angelo and for Roy Halston, to whom she was a muse and a close friend. Some of her iconic designs came to life during those first years,  the teardrop shaped pendants, the whip belts, the slithering snake necklaces. Thank to Halston she got introduced to Tiffany & Co in 1974 and her long lasting relationship with them began. She signed many of the company’s best selling, timeless pieces and she still does. She recently signed a contract for another 20 years collaboration with Tiffany, at the age of 72.  Her designs have been defined pure, neat, chic and timeless. “A slithering snake, a bone, a Henry Moore sculpture, a fit of depression, a flea market find . . . these are some of the things that have inspired Elsa Peretti’s designs” (Voguepedia)
